About Me
Fernando has worked for 10 years with different sports clubs, youth clubs, leisure centres and school organisations (e.g. Greenwich Leisure Limited, Forest YMCA, Scoop4Success, Let Me Play and HR Sports Academy) which he has developed experience working with young children. Fernando graduated from Northumbria University with a sports coaching degree, and also holds a level 2 basketball coaching certificate and a Level 3 personal training qualification. he has undergone the required employment vetting checks for working with children and vulnerable adults and holds an enhanced Disclosure and Barring certificate.
Why do you want to run your own business?
I have always felt passionate about starting a sports coaching company, provide children with the same opportunities that I was fortunate to receive. Fitness at any age is important to health and well-being, Cruz Sports Coaching will give young children the chance to continue developing their basic, fundamental motor skills through multi-sports. This will improve their coordination skills, self-confidence and self-esteem while providing them with the correct attitudes towards health and nutrition through diet and exercise, essentially for their future.
